Despite ASEAN countries has made various efforts, corruption remains a major problem in Southeast Asia. As we can see from the latest publication of Corruption Perception Index (2015) issued by Transparency International, the level of corruption in the ASEAN region is still high.  Eventhough Singapore and Malaysia has reached score 50 of 100 (for Malaysia) and above (85 for Singapore), the rest of ASEAN countries were still strugle to improve their anti corruption level. Thailand score 38, Indonesia 36, Philippines 35, Vietnam 31, Timor-Leste 28, Laos 25, Myanmar 22 and Cambodia 21. The number showed that corruption still becomes big problem in the most of ASEAN countries.
